I had the pleasure of attending the Briarwood Garage Sale this weekend, where I invited residents to donate items in support of evacuees affected by the devastating wildfires. I was truly moved by the overwhelming response from the community. People came together with open hearts, generously donating clothing, toys, shoes, and other essential items to help those who have been forced to leave their homes behind.
The compassion and generosity I witnessed were nothing short of inspiring. It is an honour to represent a community that consistently steps up in times of need and shows such genuine care for others—not just within our neighbourhood, but across the province.
